We opened up our lovely delicatessen over Christmas 2009, as we felt there was a niche in the local market for a purveyor of fine food and while we are challenging times, we believe most people if offered the option, would prefer to buy good quality locally produced food at reasonable prices, rather than the cheap food at cheap prices sold by the supermarket chains.

We have a range of delicious Cheeses, Cold Meats, Pies, Jams, Preserves, Chutneys, Free Range Eggs and Local Vegetables which we use in our takeaway and sit in menu prepared fresh every day by Liz, for possibly the best lunch in town.

Our outside catering has, we’re happy to say been a huge unexpected success and helped us to grow through the recession catering for birthdays, dinner parties, anniversaries, company product launches and even the Mayor's banquet...
