We opened up our lovely delicatessen over Christmas 2008, as we felt there was a niche in the local market for a purveyor of fine food and while these are challenging times, we have found that many people still prefer to buy good quality locally produced food at reasonable prices, rather than the mass produced cheaply made produce sold by the supermarket chains.

We have a range of delicious Cheeses, Cold Meats, Pies, Jams, Preserves, Chutneys and Free Range Eggs which we also use in our takeaway and sit in menu, prepared fresh every day by Liz and the team, for what we believe is the best lunch in town.

Our outside catering has, we’re happy to say been a huge unexpected success and helped us to grow through the recession catering for birthdays, dinner parties, anniversaries, company product launches and even the Mayor's banquet...
